Event Managers breaks theme

Ever since the major update to 4.3.x Event Manager breaks my theme (Hestia Pro). Only on the frontpage it collides with the header picture. Normally (as it is now on my homepage) the text is an pictured as an overlay on the pictures. However, when the 4.3.x version of Event Manager is installed, the text is displayed in a grey area at the left of the picture. I rolled back to 4.2.9 and the problem is gone.
