This might be due to a caching issue on your site. I recommend you clear your browser cookies and browser cache and try again. If that doesn’t solve the problem, try deactivating any caching related plugins on the site.
If none of that works, you’ll need to let me know a bit more info about your Multisite configuration. Is there anything unusual about it? Are you using custom login URLs or custom domains? etc.
Hello,
there is no cache plugin on our website. However, we use a connection URL customization plugin (WPS Hide Login). This plugin doesn’t cause any problems on all our other sites that also contain User Switching.
I tried clear browser cookies and browser cache but doesn’t change anything.
My multisite configuration :
- 2 sites
- 1 domain + subdomain
A few other people have reported problems using WPS Hide Login in the past, not because there’s anything wrong with it but because depending on the configuration it can break the cookie handling in plugins such as User Switching.
I can only suggest trying to adjust your configuration for WPS Hide Login to see if you can get it working again. You might also want to try deactivating WPS Hide Login temporarily to confirm that’s definitely the problem.
Hello John,
When I deactivating WPS Hide Login, User Switching works perfectly.
