Error when loading new template, site not working

    I downloaded a new template and now am getting this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_theme_file_path() in /home2/rlscons/public_html/sailingandsuch.com/wp-content/themes/rife-free/functions.php on line 19

    I think I figured out that I need to download the latest wordpress. I downloaded the file but am lost at what I need to do now. :/
