    Hello Team,
I am using the latest version of Redux Framework plugin but everytime I am getting this error and blocking me to access backend –

No class named Redux_Extension_customizer exists. Please verify your extension path.

Could you please tell me what might causing this issue? I am using Electro theme which requires this plugin to operate.

The theme you are using is a premium theme that I do not have access to, and therefore cannot do any tests to see if your issue can be reproduced (plus, support for premium products is not permitted in these forums per WordPress guidelines). It’s not an error I can recreate using the Redux demo. I have no way of knowing how the theme author is using or implementing Redux.

You’ll need to report this issue to the theme author and inquire if they can reproduce it. If the theme author can reproduce this issue, they’ll need to be the ones to file a report with us as they are the only ones who can legally provide us with a copy of their theme.

    Good luck.

    Also, read this thread: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/no-class-named-redux_extension_customizer-exists-please-verify-your-extension-p/

He reported something similar and figure out what was wrong. Try following the steps he offered and see if that helps.

@kprovance You could wait before resolving this. However, I have switched to a default WordPress theme like as Twenty-twelve, but still the error shows up. I had followed the ticket instructions and re-installed the plugin but no luck.

No further action required, it has been resolved. It was conflicting with another plugin called Quad Menu.

I’m glad you got it resolved, but there really wasn’t any way for me to know this, as the information originally provided didn’t include any of that data.

I looked at the free version available at wp.org but wasn’t able to reproduce the issue. If it’s a premium version, there’s nothing I can do as it’s on the developer to refer issues to us, not the user. I did notice the free version of QuadMenu is using an embedded version of Redux 3.x, which is sunset, out of date, and contains many security issues. While Redux 4.x should override it, your issue suggests that isn’t happening in some scenario I cannot recreate. The obvious solution is for the developer of this plugin to upgrade to Redux 4.x, even embedded, and spare their customers potential security risks. However, the responsibility is on them to keep Redux current. You could mention it to them, as you’re a customer of theirs.

    Good luck.
