pease tell me which version of PHP you are using

This is on my local machine – I am using version 7.1.9. I know, though, that the live server where the site will be, still uses php version 5.* .
If this is a problem with php v. 7.*, and can’t be made compatible with both this version and the old versions of php, that’s okay too. I will just put up with the notice on my local machine. But I really would like to not see it.

please try the 2.1.3 version that I have just released and tell me if all is ok
That was quick. I had just updated the plugin but it was version 2.1 2. The 2.1.3 version worked great! Thank you.
