Error in syntax when restore is attempted

My ISP had a server crash and was unable to provide me any backups. To avoid losing a month of hard work, I’m trying to use my WordPress backup created 5 days ago but when I use PhpMyAdmin (total newbie) and upload my BackupScheduler.zipback file, I get this error message:

MySQL said: 

#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'PKPK' at line 1

No clue what this means but desperate – does anyone know what means and how to fix it?

Could you send me the SQL files ?

First I recommend you to delete this post as the zip contain confidential information such as your password.

Second, I import the sql file without any issue. How have you import the file ? Did you use the function import of phpmyadmin ?

I removed the file from my dropbox and also changed my cpanel password – thx for reminder

Actually I use No compatibility mode, and I have not zip the file but I do not know if it change something …

It is funny because in your sent file I cannot find backup_20130605 … very very strange … how can you have a bug if this words does not appears ?

For other people, the import process of SQL in phpmyadmin does not take as input the received zip file but the sql files inside the zip file.
If you upload this zip file, phpmyadmin won’t understand anything …

Late yesterday I was reading this http://codex.wordpress.org/Restoring_Your_Database_From_Backup and suddenly realized I needed to open the existing WordPress database and then import the unzipped backup file, overriding the old. As soon as I did that, it worked!

I am glad that everything work … the problem with this plugin is that people realize that there is some issue or that they forgot to save something when the problem occurs and when a restoration is needed 🙂
