    Hi voicetoons,

Thank you for reaching out with your question!

Based on the screenshot you provided, it looks like you’re trying to edit the Archive Courses page using Elementor.

You’re encountering this behavior because LearnPress’s default Archive Courses page is built with its own internal structure and is not designed to be directly edited with Elementor. This is similar to how default archive pages (like blog post archives) in WordPress often work.

If you wish to customize your Archive Courses page layout and design using Elementor, you can achieve this with our plugin: Thim Elementor Kit.

Thim Elementor Kit is specifically designed to extend Elementor’s capabilities to LearnPress pages, allowing you to create custom layouts for your course archives, single course pages, and more. It’s available on WordPress.org.

We hope this helps you achieve your desired design!

Thx we installed thim kit but it does not help. We want to edit the main courses page, and the single course page itself. e.g. …courses/php-course That is the error shown we get. Can we edit those pages with thim kit or elementor? Very strange as usually you can create a new elementor page and insert a template from the library but we do not see those pages in the template section in elementor, or even now in thim kit. How then can we edit the main courses page shown to users on the new website? Thx again….

    Hi voicetoons,

Thank you so much for your follow-up!

To customize the main Courses page (Archive Course) and Single Course pages using Elementor, please refer to our detailed guide here.

After you’ve created your custom template using Thim Elementor Kit, make sure to assign it correctly by going to Edit Conditions and setting it to Include → All Course Archives. This step is essential to ensure your Archive Course page displays the layout you’ve designed.

For Single Course pages, the process is similar. Create a new template, design it as you wish, and then set the display condition to All Courses.

Once this is done, your Courses and Single Course pages should use the custom templates created via Thim Elementor Kit.
