Enable Disk Page Cache question

Hello,

I’m curious what does this option : Enable Disk Page cache?

Also, our wp-config.php is protected and I see this message: The file wp-config.php is not writable. Please add write permission to activate the fallback cache. What is the plugin trying to add in wp-config? If it’s about the define WP_CACHE on true, is already defined, so I think you should check first if it’s set or not.
