  • Hi sueblue can you share the link to the contact form.

    Thank you

I have encountered the same problem. As I built my form up step-by-step, it seems to occur after adding 13 new fields.
Adding a 14th field causes the setting to disable and I cannot re-enable it.
If I delete a field, then I can save the “Enable CAPTCHA” setting again.
Also, my redirect settings change to the default form settings.

Hi @ can you share your form URL with 14 fields added.

    Thank you

My form (URL here) has way more than 14 fields (more than 50) and I am still adding.

I have noticed that it is not only the CAPTCHA options (Enable CAPTCHA, Enable smaller size CAPTCHA, Hide CAPTCHA) that do not save. It is any option in the SECURITY tab!

SECURITY settings work perfectly well, in the same website, with the same plugin, on other forms (smaller). It is only this form that has the issue.

    When you say

Do the buttons become greyed out and you cannot click them?

How much memory to you have allocated to WordPress in your server?

    No, nothing is grayed out.

I check the box “Enable CAPCTHA”.
    I click on SAVE CHANGES
When the page refreshes after “saving” the box is unchecked.

As for the allocated memory, there is not memory definition on the wp-config.php. Would it be somewhere else?

By the way, now I ran into another issue. It will not save one more field.
That’s it. No error messages, nothing. It just does not save any more fields. I create the new field, click on SAVE CHANGES and after refreshing the new field is not there anymore.

Hi in regards to memory, please read the following URL. You could also ask your Host about the memory allocated to your website.

Try and disable all plugins except this one and see if you still encounter the same issue?

The solution was to decrease the number of fields.
After a certain number of fields the plugin stops saving any additional field or allowing to enable CAPTCHA.

Hi sueblue, that sounds like a good plan.

How many fields did you end up with?

I am still curious to know how much memory you have allocated by your host and if did you carry out my request above?

Try and disable all plugins except this one and see if you still encounter the same issue?

Does this answer your question? If it does can you mark this support thread as resolved.

    Thank you

    I cut down to 45.
I am not sure if it was the number of fields or if one of the fields deleted presented some issue, or maybe even some plugin conflict.

I did a backup of the whole site and database, then I deactivated and deleted any plugin that was not essential.

I don’t know how much memory I have allocated by my host.

    Everything is fine now.

I would love to be able to make the tags for the fieldset (open box) bold, but that is another subject.

    Thanks!
