Email send delay

    Hello there,

    Hope you are having a great day.

    I am using SendWP to send all email receipts and notifications from purchases via EDD.

    On Thursday I received an email notification from PayPal confirming an EDD sale. I also received a New User Registration notification email from EDD (I think via SendWP?).

    Unfortunately, I didn’t receive any New Digital Sale notification / receipt email until yesterday and the customer did not receive their Purchase Receipt email with the download links until yesterday either (5 days later).

    Do you think the emails somehow ‘got stuck’ in the SendWP queue? Is there anything to be done that can ensure emails triggered by EDD are sent immediately?

    I’m sorry, but your SendWP service isn’t supported here and the author’s can’t have this conversation here either. They can only support the code.

    Please find some other way to reach them that does not include these forums.

    For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site. This includes any pre-sales topics as well and any topics related to any service they have.

    As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
