email header image not displayed
-
Hi All,
In WooCommerce settings, I entered the link to the “header image” from Media and saved.
But the image is not displayed in the recipient’s email address!
It’s the “site title” that is displayed instead! How can I fix this issue, please?`
Thank you,

Hello,
To get a better understanding of your issue, can you please provide us more details on how you added the “header image?”
If easier, you can share a screenshot of the email edit page.
I recommend https://snipboard.io for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in this chat. It works with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.Hi @maykato,
Thanks for your reply.
The image of the header is a large image.
This screenshot is made on the local server. But, in a real mailbox, this image with the logo is not displayed. Instead, there is a blank where only the website name is displayed.

Hi @davidovic123,
Thanks for sending that over. You described the email as having “a blank where only the website name is displayed.” That sounds like the “alt text” for an image that isn’t loading.
I’d suggest right-clicking on that text and copying the image URL. Then paste it into another browser window. That should pull up the image file directly. If it doesn’t, see what error message you receive.
The image itself isn’t embedded into the email. It’s a URL to where to find the image on your server. So if that URL isn’t accessible on the device where you’re viewing the email, this sounds like what we’d expect to see.
Let us know what you find out and we’ll go from there.
Thanks!
I right-clicked on this text, but in this list of right-click, there is no link to the image URL.
I would like to note that the link to the email header image has been set regularly: in WooCommerce settings -> Emails -> Header image (the image link points to Media)
Thank you,
Hey @davidovic123,
Thanks for checking that. Could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here.
Cheers
Please find the WooCommerce status you requested here:

Apologies for the delay here.
The link with the status report is no longer functional. Can you kindly re-share?
Thanks
Hi @margaretwporg,
Thanks for your reply,
Here is the new link for the WooCommerce status:

Thanks for sharing the System Status Report. Nothing in it stands out as a problem.
I would like to note that the link to the email header image has been set regularly: in WooCommerce settings -> Emails -> Header image (the image link points to Media)
We understand that the header image has been set in the inbuilt default way (not through a plugin). However, from your system status report it seems that the email header has been overridden by the child theme’s template – so, that could be the reason. You may need to get in touch with your developer in this regard, but before that can you please share a screenshot of what you see upon right-clicking on the text where the image is supposed to be?

Hi @margaretwporg,
In the WooCommerce template of the child theme, I did not modify the “email-header.php” file.
I deleted it after one of my updates. But I hadn’t changed it, by the way.
Instead, the only file kept in the override template is “email-styles.php” because I made some custom CSS.
So there is no override of the email header by the child theme.
Hi @davidovic123,
Thanks for getting back to us.
I have a few more questions for you that will help us move forward with troubleshooting this issue.
1. Can you change the theme to Storefront and test again?
2. Do you see the header image when you click on the preview and is the image link correct?
3. Do you see the header image using an email logger tool like WP Mail Logging?
4. Could you test with another email address? (the image may be blocked by some email providers)Thanks for your answers to the above questions. We’ll go from there.
Cheers.
