    Hi there,

    we have had a very good experience with the plugin so far. Unfortunately, since around two months, we encountered the following bug several times: If a user requests to change his email, the email verification for said request is not sent to the existing email, but rather only the profile name is set in the address field of the confirmation email.
    This prompts the following error from Post SMTP, the plugin we use for sending emails via our Office 365 SMTP server and have not had any issues with over the past years whatsoever:

    A look into the logs in the admin panel reveals the empty “To” field:

    As a sanity check, I confirmed that the wp_users table still had the correct (original) email in place.
    Would you mind providing me with further debugging steps?

    Just to be sure of some things first:

    1. ​Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard –> Plugins -> Installed Plugins -> and send a screenshot with everything you have installed related to Profile Builder (make sure the plugin version can be seen)?
    2. ​Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard –> Profile Builder -> Settings -> General -> and send a screenshot from there (please make sure all the settings from that page can be seen)?
    3. ​Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard –> Profile Builder -> Settings ->Advanced Settings -> Forms -> and send a screenshot from there (please make sure all the settings from that page can be seen)?
    4. Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard –> Profile Builder -> Settings -> Email Customizer -> User Emails -> and send a screenshot where it can be seen the “Change email address request email” template?

    Could you please send the PB settings? Please install the “Import and Export Settings Addon” from Profile Builder –> Add-ons. Then export your Profile Builder settings and send the file.
