Elementor conflict with Dokan Biography section
-
Hi,
Elementor is behaving oddly on my website, and I suspect it might be due to a conflict between either Dokan and Elementor or just Elementor itself inheriting the theme’s code.
Explanation: When the plugin is activated, specific contents from a theme show up even if the theme is deactivated. Clearing the server’s caching isn’t helping.
In the Single store page, under the section called “Vendor Biography”, initially, the section is hidden as you don’t have a biography as a new vendor. If you add your biography from the vendor dashboard, the text you are currently seeing appears. It’s a text from the theme. If Elementor is active, and you edit your biography from the vendor dashboard, it doesn’t appear here. The section remains as is with the dummy text even if the theme is deactivated. But if Elementor is deactivated, then the changes show up. See the screenshot to see the section I’m referring to: https://i.postimg.cc/Dyrmk4fB/Screenshot-2025-12-12-010045.png
Can you please check whether it is happening because I missed something, or maybe Elementor is somehow caching the template files and showing them even when the theme is deactivated?
