    I use the jetpack sideshow block in my posts. That works great, but if I want to edit a slideshow it takes a very long time before the images are loaded. I found a workaround by killing editing and to edit it again. Then the image appear must faster.
    What can I do to make editing the slideshow faster?

    Do you mean it takes a long time before the images are loaded in the Media Library Gallery as shown here: https://d.pr/i/JTyg3K

    I’ve tried reproducing the problem, and my gallery (as shown in the screenshot) loads instantly, so I didn’t have any opportunity to stop the editing process and start again.

    Please let me know if I’ve misunderstood something about the flow you are experiencing!

    Yes, indeed, it took a long time before the images were loaded in the Media Gallery.
    I deactivated several plugins that are optimizing my images. Now the problem is almost solved. I will do some more testing.
