Hi Robin,
I hope you are doing great.
Yes, it is possible to edit tasks and their description on the frontend.
Just to confirm, are you referring to the frontend project manager? When clicking on a task to view it, you should be able to edit the description from the Overview tab.
Additionally, just to confirm, does the user role that you are using on the frontend have the “Edit Tasks” permission added in Zephyr > Settings > General Settings under the Permissions tab?
Thanks.
Kindest regards,
Dylan
Dylan,
Doing just fine here. Hope the same for you. I continue to use Zephyr to manage projects for our home owner’s association. As a reminder, I’m using version 4.0 which I think, if I remember correctly, is experimental.
As administrator and keymaster I think I have all the permissions available. The one thing on the front end that I cannot edit is the task description. I can on the backend but not on the front end.
Would a screen shot or two be helpful?
Robin-
PS – This is one NICE plugin. I’ve been using it for several years now and would give it 10 stars if that were allowed.
Thanks so much for your kind words, that really means a lot! 🙂
Regarding the issue, it is really strange that it is only the description that is not editable.
If you could send me a screenshot of what the task edit page looks like at the moment that would be a major help.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Dylan
