• First off: Thanks for this great plugin! Hate to turn to you because of this but I came here searching for a solution for that markup error being thrown by the styles for the edit button/link (I´m using a Genesis childtheme, onboard at the moment). It´s the only one on my pages for the moment and unfortunately I got a picky customer…

I read the thread about disabling the edit link, but it´s surely a useful thing in most places, I´d prefer to not disable it entirely for this case (if that would help anyway). Is there something else I can do?
(Wouldn´t the header be a better place to put these styles in…?)

When the header fires you don’t know if there’s a need to show the styles yet or not. Only once a shortcode fires do you know if you need them or not. We’re doing some updates to the spots plug-in at the moment I’ll see what I can do to change this. Probably just move the style to header if logged in with an editor level or above account. unfortunately other work takes precedents so I can’t say how long it’ll be before I complete the next version of it.

I understand. Thanks for getting back to me – putting my hope into next version then.
