Hello,
Does this happen only with the OceanWP theme? Try to switch theme temporarily to a default theme like twenty nineteen and check it works properly or not with it.
Can you link to the plugin page so that I can check it?
Hi, Thanks for getting back to me. I’m struggling to find a way to switch themes without causing massive disruption to my live site (broken widgets, sidebar issues, layout, plugin compatibility etc) but I can provide the link to the plugin: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/cybersyn/
Hope this helps to shed some light on the subject.
Thank you for the plugin link. To switch the theme, create a staging site. Here you can do all the troubleshooting steps. Login to the staging site, go to Appearance > Themes and switch theme.
Hi Amit,
I wanted to let you know that I’ve had Siteground take a look at this for me. They’ve checked and tried changing my PHP version, clearing my cache, deleting my OPcache, fixing my account’s permissions, using a default .htaccess file but to no avail.
They also checked my server log but did not find any information related to the issue.
I also disabled all plugins on the site apart from Cybersyn to eliminate the possibility of plugin conflict, but I still received duplicate posts when the cron job ran. I still can’t run a staging site because doing so exceeds my allocated disc space, but having eliminated all other possibilities, it looks like the issue definitely lies with the theme. It’s doing another weird thing and saving images from deleted posts, despite having the plugin set to not store images locally.
So, it’s not my host, it’s not a plugin conflict and it’s not Cybersyn. Please help, this is driving me around the bend!
Thanks in advance.
