    I want to automatically append “copy” or the current date to duplicated post titles. Is there a way to set up a custom naming format when cloning?

    Thanks for the suggestion! In the current Duplicate Post RB version there isn’t a built-in option to auto-name clones.This is on our roadmap for the next major release. We’re adding custom naming templates, so you can define different rules per content type.

    That update also includes:

    • Profiles – create separate cloning presets for different needs (e.g., special rules for WooCommerce products vs. blog posts).
    • Granular metadata copy – choose exactly what to clone, including core fields and data from popular plugins: Yoast SEO, Rank Math, ACF, WooCommerce, Elementor, Jetpack, and more.
    • Multisite + batch cloning – clone to other sites in the network and process items in bulk.

    Workaround today: after cloning, use Quick Edit in the Posts list to quickly adjust the title. The first major release with these new features is planned within the next two weeks.
