Just started the first campaign on our website. I need help to solve the following issues:
    – When people pay through PayPal, Give Donations dashboard show the donation as completed but it does not appear in the donor wall. When we edit the donor profile(change in the name or add a fake company name), the donor start appearing in the general donor wall but still it does not appear under its own Form donor wall.
Please note that if someone makes an offline donation and we make it “Completed” then it starts showing under its form donor wall and also in all donors wall.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

Can you tell me what your settings are regarding the “Anonymous Donations” feature? Generally, donors need the ability to mark themselves as “anonymous” and NOT be listed on the donor wall, that’s what this feature is related to. Please review your settings both in “Donations > Settings > Display Options” as well as your form settings in the “Display Options” tab.

Additionally, when you go to an individual donor, what does it say regarding “Anonymous Donor”?

lastly, are you updated to the latest version of Give? And do you have database updates available on your site? You would see that available in “Donations > Updates”. If you don’t see that menu item then you are updated.

Let me know on those items so I can try to replicate your problem.

    Hi Mat,
Give is updated to the latest version.

    Settings> Display Options> Anonymous Donations = Disabled
    Form> Form Display> Anonymous Donations > Global

Now i have enabled the Anonymous Donations in the settings but still, donors are not appearing in the form donor wall as below.
    [give_donor_wall form_id=”4051″ show_comments=”false”]

But donors start appearing with the following shortcode.
    [give_donor_wall show_comments=”false”]

Hi @imranumer — apologies for the delay. In the meantime, I’ve interfaced with our development team and it seems we do have a couple issues with the Donor Wall that seem related to what you are reporting. We have them mostly fixed already for our next version of Give which should be released within the next couple weeks.

    Thanks for your patience.

    Thanks Matt,
Two weeks are not long to wait.
I have a couple of suggestions:
1- It would be great If you could add a feature where a donor can donate an amount of his choice through a simple donate button.
2- A simple cart where a donor can choose from multiple projects and pay for all of them at checkout. currently, we have to use another plugin to offer that.

Thanks for producing such a nice plugin.

    Hi @imranumer

    1. This is already possible. You can set any form to be “Set Amount” and enabled the Custom Amount option. Additionally, you can set the Display Method to be “Button Only”.

    2. We don’t plan to create a cart system. Give was made with the intention to avoid the multiple clicks and page refreshes that are common with ecommerce systems, but not condusive to donations. We do support multiple custom fields with our Form Field Manager addon as well as having detailed docs on how you can develop custom fields in order to allow donors to choose multiple options in one form. We’d recommend that far more than a cart system.

Also, just a quick update that Give version 2.3 should be released next week and it will resolve any and all issues you were experiencing with the Donor Wall.

    Thanks!
