Donation grid block doesn’t display modal new Multi-step form

    Dear great Give people

    I’m testing the new multi-step form ahead of implementing it on my site. I have exactly the same problem as here:

    I have tried disabling all plugins, caching, minimising and combining scripts etc as advised in your response to the above and the only thing that works is changing the theme; Twenty Twenty works fine with all plugins enabled. So it looks like a theme conflict but checking with the theme authors (Ascend by KadenceWP) they don’t use the iFrameSizer library.

    I’m beginning to suspect an issue with the Magnific popup library that you use to implement the modal. A legacy form in the same grid works fine as a modal; the new multi-step forms work fine as standalone forms on a page.

    Any advice on how I might further investigate this apparent conflict would be gratefully appreciated. You will need a user/password for the staging site which I can DM to you if you wish to inspect the site.

    Hi @julianrush,

    Glad you reached out.

    The steps highlighted By Matt are the best ones and I think you already found out what is going on. Although your theme does not use the iFrameSizer library, they are possibly using some other library or their own code that is conflicting with GiveWP.

    Putting me in your shoes, I’d activate the Ascend theme and I’d check the developers’ console, so you can see if there is any error showing up there. If there is any, I’d take a note and then discuss it with the theme developers too, so they can investigate and fix it on their side.
