It seems that the plugin doesn’t work with page builder tools. I have a single post template created with Elementor and cannot get it to appear.
It’s a bug, actually two bugs. Since it’s been a long time and they haven’t been able to fix it, I suggested they temporarily remove it.
1) Related Posts doesn’t work on any of my websites at different hosts and using different themes and plugins.
2) Related Posts is recording the number of times people click on a Related Post.
I contacted AddThis Support twice. This is what they said:

Response: We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. After looking into this issue, it appears as a bug from our end. We have notified the engineering team about it and they are unable to provide an estimate for resolution at this time. I will keep track of this issue and notify you if and when we’re able to push a fix. Thank you for your patience!

My email: I was wondering why I get emails showing 5 clicks on Related Posts when a bug prevents Related Posts from showing? Is the analytics data also due to a bug? Also, is there any estimate for when the bug will be fixed? I noticed that Related Posts doesn’t work on any of my WordPress websites that use different themes.
Response: This seems like a bug on our end. When I inspected your site I can see that for some reason a request is not being made to load related posts tool. I went ahead and tracked a ticket to our developers team to investigate. As soon as I hear from them I’ll let you know. Our devs are currently investigating the issue. I’ll let you know once I hear an update from the team.
