Couldn’t find the answer anywhere, so just asking:

Is fcf compatible with HPOS? I am still trying to debug why I don’t see fcf on my order admin pages (and not even under Screen Options).

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Yes, Flexible Checkout Fields is compatible with HPOS. Support for HPOS was added in version 3.6.0 – 2024-01-16 along with support for WooCommerce 8.5. You can find this information in the plugin’s changelog here:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/flexible-checkout-fields/#developers

As for not seeing FCF fields on your order admin pages, just to clarify – do you mean that the custom fields added with FCF are not visible when editing an order? If so, please note that FCF fields will appear near the top of the order page in the section you assigned them to. For example, if you added fields to the Billing section, they will appear under the Billing details. Here’s a screenshot for reference:

If you still don’t see the fields, here are a few things to check:

    1. Classic Checkout – Please make sure you are using the classic checkout, i.e. created with the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode. FCF is compatible only with the classic checkout, not the block-based one.
    2. Theme Conflict – If you’re already using the classic checkout and still don’t see the fields, it might be related to your theme. We recommend temporarily switching to the default Storefront theme:
      https://wordpress.org/themes/storefront/
Then check again if the issue persists.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Kind regards,

    Hi,

Thank you for the swift response.

Yes, I am using the classic checkout.

I am using the Kadence theme and I believe that I have tried in the past to use Storefront, and disable all other plugins, etc.

Question: Can I edit the values of fcf fields on the admin page only with Pro?

I can now see the fcf field + value on the admin page under the billing details (I created a custom field in the Billing section, so that’s correct). However, I cannot edit it. This is what I would like to do. I presume that this should be possible (I was shown screenshots of FCF under the “Screen Options” settings, which I do not see on my site. And when I compare the free (what I have) and the pro version on your website, it does not say that Pro is required for editing the values via the admin backend.

    Thank you for your reply.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your message.

I’m not entirely sure what you mean by the “Screen Options” settings in this context, as Flexible Checkout Fields doesn’t add any related options there. However, to clarify your main question – yes, the ability to edit FCF fields directly in the order edit screen is available only in the PRO version of the plugin.

Once you’re using the PRO version, the custom fields added with FCF will appear in an editable form at the very bottom of the order page in the admin panel. Here’s a screenshot for reference:
