Of course, this is entirely untrue. The docs are packaged with the plugin. This is mentioned several times in the plugin FAQ.

At the risk of looking silly… You sure? Not that this plugin has or needs extensive docs. The FAQ was all the doc needed. But I know what your doc files look like in your other theme (there’s a literal html file) and didn’t see them in this one.
Now paid support is available. But that’s no reason for a 1 star review, or swearing.
Hey! Cool 😀 I was used to seeing the .html file. Makin’ me feel old, Justin 😉
knickraven, the docs are there but they’re for devs, since most people just read that FAQ. Yes, support is pay for, but I’m willing to bet you didn’t even try asking first, so making your review a complaint like this is pretty unfair. You don’t have to pay for support, of course, but that’s totally legit to have it be the way he does. Justin (and other devs) all deserve to make a living 🙂
Also I’ve never once regretted paying Justin for support 🙂
I’ve mostly done away with the HTML files because, well, people weren’t reading them. It was a lot of work doing those too. One thing I need to do is link up the readme.md file to the GitHub version of it. At least it’s the prettified version.
