I’m sorry to hear that you’re facing issues after the update.
Could you please provide more details about the problem? Specifically, what’s not working as expected, and if you’ve noticed any error messages or unusual behavior since the update.
This information will help us better understand the issue and guide you through resolving it.
Looking forward to your reply!
You add new php files to woocommerce plugin and they conflict with my website files.
We’re here to help troubleshoot the issues you’re experiencing with WooCommerce after updating your site. To assist us better, could you please provide some information about the conflicts you’ve encountered?
Specifically, we’d like to know which files you’re referring to. Can you please share the following details?
- Any error messages or notifications you received during the update process
- A brief description of the issues you’re experiencing on your website (e.g., functionality not working, errors, etc.)
- Conflicts may be occurring due to a third-party plugin/theme on your site. Have you tested WooCommerce and the Storefront Theme separately to see if the issue persists? If not, can you please do that on a staging site? I’d recommend creating a staging site for investigating the issue, such that the live site is not affected. If your host doesn’t offer that option, we recommend WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging
Can you please test it out and check if the error persists? If yes; can you please share the requested details?
Looking forward to your reply!
I have the same issue, it returns an error on visiting the Plugins page, but I’ve seen it on other as well:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: explode(): Argument #2 ($string) must be of type string, bool given in /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/admin/class-wc-admin.php:391

Hi @knezmilos and @northmedicalholding,
WooCommerce 9.9.4 has just been released, and it includes a fix for the issue we were experiencing.
Can you please update to this latest version and let us know if everything works as expected?
Looking forward to your reply!
That didn’t seem to work and I’m running PHP 8.1. Unless it’s a plugin that’s causing the issue, I’ve manually changed that line with this:
if ( $classes != '' && in_array( array( 'wc-wp-version-gte-53', 'wc-wp-version-gte-55' ), explode( ' ', $classes ), true ) ) {Hi @knezmilos,
I am sorry to hear that the issue persisted on your live site even after updating to 9.9.4.
Can you please test the same on a staging site with only WooCommerce and Storefront theme to make sure other plugin/theme are not affecting here?
Please let us know how it goes!
I can confirm that switching to another theme is not the issue but I will test plugins cause the issue.
Thank you in advance for your efforts!
Please keep us posted on the outcome if you like:)
Please remember when conducting your test to also deactivate any Must Use plugins and/or page builders.
This documentation provides details on how to conduct a thorough and safe conflict test: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/-
