Hi,
I think you should be able to copy an image into the note, but uploading it directly is a bit harder (same would go for html support, you should be able to copy a bold text for example, which will be pasted as bold text too then).
If you really want the flexibility, there is a workaround, and that is by going to the URL: /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=note and edit the notes in there with the full power of the visual editor.
