Disable weekly emails by default

    Thanks for sharing your feedback.

    We are sorry to hear that you’d prefer that the weekly email summary be disabled by default.

    Just in case, you haven’t done so already, you can disable the weekly summary by following the steps outlined here.

    As for the reason why it is enabled by default, WP Mail SMTP is designed to improve email sending and just to ensure that users are aware of their total email sending since WP Mail SMTP was activated, our weekly summaries give a clear indicator.

    This email should only be sent out once (per website) and we ensured that disabling this is as straightforward as possible in case users either were tracking this via alternate means or if they no longer would like to track this.

    If you received multiple emails despite only having one website, please let us know.
