Description variable products

My problem is with the description field of a variable product.
In the mapping I indicated as g:description “product short description parent product” or “product description parent product” but both don’t work.
The field is empty with variable products while with simple products the field is correctly filled in.
Where am I wrong?

When you use the above field mapping will use the product variation description when you have filled those in for your product variations: https://www.dropbox.com/s/voofxlh1hy8j4mt/Screenshot%202023-06-15%20at%2013.01.26.png?dl=0

When you did not set separate product descriptions for your variations than the plugin will fall-back to the product description of the parent variable product: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jiiita3ai0xdmr6/Screenshot%202023-06-15%20at%2013.02.02.png?dl=0

The above default field mapping will also fetch the product descriptions for your simple products.

That’s what i did but it doesn’t work.
In Woocommerce I don’t use a description for each variant. The description must be the general one of the product sheet.

In Product Feed Pro whichever field I choose regarding the description, products with variants have an empty description in the feed.

Can you send us the following:
1. A screenshot of a variable product holding your product description? Including its product ID;
2. Your product feed URL;
3. The plugin debug.log URL. This is how you can retrieve the debug.log URL: https://adtribes.io/send-your-debug-log-to-support/

Also, can you update to version 12.7.1 and see if that solves the issue at hand for you?
