I did a backup, upgraded the plugin to the latest version, did another backup and transferred the files to a safe location. I then deleted both backups in the admin console. The files were deleted from wp-content/ai1wm-backups/. However, both files still exist in wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/storage.

How do I physically delete the backups I no longer want to keep on disk?

In rare cases failed exports and imports leave files in the storage folder. The plugin has a cleanup function that runs once daily and deletes any files older than 24 hours from the storage folder. If you do not delete the files yourself, then the plugin will do it for you after 24 hours.

Backups im ai1wm-backups folder are not deleted. You have to remove them from the backups page like you did.

Ah… thanks for that. I do recall that after updating the plugin, I had two failed backups. I logged out, bounced the server and all was well. Apparently it was the failures in the storage directory.
