Go to your “WordPress Admin Panel => Classifieds & Directory => Settings”. Find the settings “Default Location” and don’t set Germany / Europe here. Save the changes and try now.

i tried what you suggest (you mean ‘set’ right? (not ‘don’t set)), but the map shows up the same way. It is not the default of the dropdown i like to change but the map perspective. Should the map marker default change after setting the “Default Location”?

I moved the pointer to the location I wanted on the map. Once on the spot it stays there. I don’t think it is tied to the address that is input.

And I’ve got another problem. Do I need to write down every location of my country in the location menu or is there something already finished, what I can take?
Is there anything else necessary than to get an google api key and copy it into the misc menu to get this running? Somehow I can’t choose a location in the add listing page.

Hello, yes – I did it for my site (Philippines), there is no list with regions/ cities what you can import – as far as I know
