Deactivate Jetpack Cronjob

It seems that perhaps the cron job was not deleted when Jetpack was removed. You should be able to use a plugin such as WP Crontrol to be able to delete the unwanted jobs.

Can you please specify what happens when you try to delete the cron jobs left from Jetpack?

Certainly, if you’ve installed the WP Crontrol plugin and are still unable to delete the unwanted cron jobs, it’s a good idea to seek assistance from WP Crontrol’s support team.

Thanks for opening that support thread with the WP Crontrol folks.

In the meantime, you can use this plugin to purge stale Jetpack data from your previous installation: https://github.com/automattic/jetpack-addons/archive/add/jp-rm-options.zip

Once activated, it should remove lingering Jetpack data on your site.
