• Each time I enter the customizer and disable this option:
Use a background image for the viewer
and then save…. when I open the customizer again it’s checked and the configurator shows the default grey background imagen [even if I deselect the imagen in the options].

Hi there, Which configurator theme are you using?

The “H”, not sure if it’s the actual name of it. It’s the one where the choices appear in a bottom row instead of a sidebar.

By the way, I need to ask you more questions. I will ask them here:
    – Is there any way to show the price in the mobile ‘Add to cart’ button? Just like the desktop button. If not, is it possible to add the price in the left side of the bar of the button?
    – Is it possible to show a zoom or something like that in mobile version? Are you planing to do so?
    – Is it possible to hide the name of the layers that are in a group, but show the group name and the name of the layers that doesn’t have a group? I already did this with css, but want to know if there is an option that I haven’t find yet. I think that this could be a great feature.
    – Another cool feature will be the possibility of hidding or deactivate layers. We are using this plugin for a handbag store where the customers can select the fabric of each part of the handbag. Sometimes the store runs out of some fabric, so they need to deactivate it so customers can’t order it. But, days later, the fabric came to stock, so they need to activate it. With the configurator we are currently using, we have to delete the layer when the fabric is out of stock, and then add it again. It will be great to have a checkbox or switcher to do this easily. Just for your info, I have added a CSS class to do this, so using your configurator we have to add ‘hidden’ CSS Class to the out of stock layers, and our css will hide them.

Also I wanted to say that our team was trying different product configuration plugins for over 2 years, and we are really happy with yours. It’s so far the best of all that we have tried, and trust me, we have tried A LOT OF THEM, most of them so expensive. So great job and great plugin. Will recommend it for sure.

I’m not sure why this is happening.
I did a couple of tests and had the issue once, but saving again worked.

You can try this CSS: https://gist.github.com/marcusig/95a92bd5e687ec0e943abeb0af379274

Yes I’m planning to add this at some point.

    – Is it possible to hide the name of the layers that are in a group, but show the group name and the name of the layers that doesn’t have a group? I already did this with css, but want to know if there is an option that I haven’t find yet. I think that this could be a great feature.

I think CSS is your best best at this point. But I’d be interested to see how you use this, as I don’t see it as something that can be used widely.

Thank you! Glad the plugin is useful to you and your team.

First of all, thank you for the great, quick support.

I did a couple of tests and had the issue once, but saving again worked.

Yeah, I tried today again to uncheck the option and suddenly worked. Not sure how or why, but it worked so… there is no problem right now!

You can try this CSS: https://gist.github.com/marcusig/95a92bd5e687ec0e943abeb0af379274

It worked great! Just a question, Will this work with the extra price addon? I mean, It will show the final price (regular price + addons), right?

Yes I’m planning to add this at some point.

Could you give me a time estimation? This is a feature our customer is requesting for the store, so this is an important part for them. As I told you, your plugin is the best so far, and even without this zoom we will use your plugin, but I need to reply the customer on this point.

I think CSS is your best best at this point. But I’d be interested to see how you use this, as I don’t see it as something that can be used widely.

In the store where we are using your plugin, there are just A LOT of fabrics for each part of the handsbag, which are categorized with fancy names like ‘Mermaid’, ‘New Year Glitter’. And in each category there are all fabrics with the same pattern/texture, they are just in different colours, so we don’t need to show all the colour names, just the category name. I could show you our store if you want a visual explanation.
I think this option will be so usefull for this kind of use, where you have too many items per category and the category name is just enough.
As I said I already made a CSS for this, so this is not a problem for me, but I think it could be a good feature for your plugin.

This feature is available as an add-on.

Well, it’s not exactly what I was looking for. Our problem is that we have the same fabric stock for all the handbags, and each handbag have different parts, which have different measures. So e.g., with 1 meter of a fabric, the store can make 3 style1 handbags, but with the same ammount of fabric, they can make 6 style2 handbags. And each day they sold a different ammount of each styl. So they can’t have a calculated stock.
Again, I already made a CSS Class to fit our purpuse, so this is not a problem for us. Just pointing a possible future feature.

Feel free to write this in a review 🙂

This is just the next thing I will do today before ending this text.

Thank you again. Have a great day!

Yes it will show the full price as well as the extra price detail.
This might need a bit more styling though, as the CSS I gave you makes all the elements visible, the same as on desktop.

Could you give me a time estimation? This is a feature our customer is requesting for the store, so this is an important part for them. As I told you, your plugin is the best so far, and even without this zoom we will use your plugin, but I need to reply the customer on this point.

Hard to tell at this point, as I have a list of other features which have a higher priority.

Regarding the stock management, it doesn’t have to be a calculated stock:
    – If using the simple stock feature, you can set a high value stock and set it to 0 when out of stock
    – If using the linked product feature, you can then set the linked product to In stock or Out of stock, and any option linked will automatically be set to the same. Which could be the simplest if you do have many options across several products using the same fabric for example. Though that requires setting products for the individual fabrics as well.

This is just the next thing I will do today before ending this text.

Thank you for the kind words 🙂
