Thanks for making the best free theme we’ve tried so far.

Using latest version of wp core all updated plugins, no conflicts, healthy site. Tried exporting blocksy theme settings, nice feature to have! But when we import the dat file, it does not include the additional CSS that was on the site where we created the export file.

Not a big deal, since we can just copy/paste the CSS code from old site to new, but would be nice to have a reminder or checkbox in the export process where it says “export the additional CSS as well?” this way the admin will not be kicking themselves if they forgot to save the additional CSS and delete the old site losing access to that code.

Because, some folks, like us will use quite a lot of additional CSS to customize and fine-tune the appearance of the wordpress site… which usually override wp core or plugin limitations.

  • Hello @wordmax

The “Additional CSS” pane is actually not provided by the theme, but by WordPress itself. We do not have much control over it, unfortunately. The Customiser import/export feature is provided by us, and we can easily interact with our options.

Additionally, the Customiser import/export feature refers to the Customiser, not WordPress’ features, so it is expected that it imports/exports only the settings.

    Hope this clears everything up!

    Thanks.
