    Is there a possibility this plugin will be updated to show custom post types as well as posts? I really like the plugin but can’t get any of my custom post types to show up. Even though they have the exact same categories as my posts.

    Yes, I think this will be an option for an upcoming version.
    I curretnly work on an update but think I can not add this feature for this.

    How would you like the handling?
    I would add an option to select the post type to display.
    Is this what you would expect?

    Hello @jp51design.
    Our plugin Ultimate Post List Pro supports custom post type. I would assume this is a good alternitive. Check it out.
