Custom Page Template Code Question

Hi, I’m a total novice at coding. Could I get a little advice on a code problem I am having making a new page template?

I have been able to put this page together from code existing on other pages on our site. We have a few pages on our site that are coded to call in groups of post thumbnails and excerpts using the plugin Recent Posts Widget Extended. I used this code to fill a column with a set of posts with one category. And I would like to do the same for 5 more sections but for some reason the code only works once. If I copy it to another section it generates nothing.

I imagine the problem is something simple. Could anyone tell me what to change so that I can get the code to work in multiple sections?

The first instance is in the section “content_left”. It is working there and you can see it live in the left column at http://bearleaderchronicle.com/site/frontpage2-test/

I duplicated the code in the next section “content_video” and nothing happens.
