• Hi,

I understand that there are at least 2 ways of adding custom CSS to wordpress, either in the “Additional CSS” in the “Appearance” -> “Customizer” or the “style.css” file in your hosting back end.

I want to add it to the “style.css” file so that I can have all of my customizations in one place that I can back this up and download/upload easily, but the exact same CSS code that works in the “Additional CSS” part, does not work when added to the “style.css” file. Any ideas?

I tried it in both the parent BuddyX theme as well as a child theme I made that other than this, works perfectly fine. Using BuddyX version 4.7.5.
