    Hi there,

    We are wondering if it’s possible to customize the automatically generated coupon code. We are hoping to modify it so that it starts at #10000.

    Please let me know if this functionality can be added or if there is a hook or filter I can use in my functions.php to modify this.

    I just purchased the premium plugin in hopes of receiving more timely support. Is there a direct way to contact the support team? The WP Sofa chat doesn’t seem to be working.

    Our support team is actively monitoring WP Sofa chat, but it seems your message came in outside of our regular support hours. We’re sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused.

    Regarding your question:

    At the moment, the Gift Card Pro plugin only supports customizing the length of the automatically generated coupon codes. Unfortunately, it does not currently allow setting a starting number such as #10000.

    However, we can help you with this feature in one of two ways:

    1. Quick Custom Integration (paid service)
      If this feature is urgent, we can schedule a dedicated task to implement it promptly. This would be a paid service and would take around 4 hours of development.
    2. Free Feature Update (within 7–10 business days)
      If you’re not in a rush, we’re happy to include this feature in the upcoming release of the Pro version. The update will be free of charge and is scheduled for release in 7–10 business days.

    Thank you for the information! Would you be able to implement the option #2 where the feature will be added to the pro plugin? Is it possible to customize the ‘coupon code’ to something else that we choose? Also, would the number generated be sequential?

    Yes, we will proceed with option #2 and add this feature to the Pro version of the plugin. We will also include an option to customize the starting number — for example, you could set it to start from #10000, and the generated numbers will be sequential from there.
