I have been reading that MLA can use a csv to update metadata. I can not find the option how to do it.

Thanks for your question. You wrote “use a csv to update metadata“. I want to start by clarifying MLA’s support for CSV import. You can use an example plugin to import values from a CSV file and update WordPress standard fields, taxonomy terms and custom fields in your site’s database. MLA does not have any features that will update the metadata embedded in the image files themselves.

You can find more information on how to install and use the example plugin in this earlier topic:

Announcing the MLA CSV Data Source Example plugin | WordPress.org

The example plugin is included in the current MLA version. You do not have to download and install any Development Version. Once the example plugin is installed and activated you can read more about it in the Settings/MLA CSV Data Documentation tab.

I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have problems or further questions regarding the example plugin. Thanks for your interest in MLA.
