    Hey guys,

Is it possible to use TranslatePress in order to create urls like:

    mywebsite.com/fr/page-1
    mywebsite.com/it/page-1

I basically mean creating new URLs to position them on Google through SEO techniques.

As per all the documentation I read I see the site translates automatically for any visitor but, what if page is in German for example? No one from France or Italy is gonna visit the site by typing german words on Google.

If URLs can’t be created permanently is is not useful in terms of positioning on Google the same content.

Looking forward to hear the answer to that as it might help others.

    Thanks.

    Hello there,

Thank you for your interest in your plugin!

TranslatePress is a plugin that translates strings.

It cannot create pages that you would like to have.

With our SEO Pack Addon, you can translate important SEO elements from every page such as: URL slugs, post/pages/custom post type/post type base slugs, page title, taxonomy and terms slugs, page description, image alt tag, Facebook/Twitter title and description.

With our “Translation slug” function from SEO Pack Addon, you can translate taxonomy slugs, term slugs, post slugs, post type base slugs, and Woocommerce slugs.

To translate these slugs, you need to access the TranslatePress Translation Editor and switch to the String Translation tab.

If there’s anything else, please let us know!

    Best regards,
