Coupon priority & nodiscount

Hi,

Could give me a few example on how coupon priority works?

For example

I have coupon that add a nodiscount item when a product is added.
I have rebates based on cart total, let say 10% if total reached 50$

I want to make sure that the 10% is applied on the product that is add at no discount
I want to make sure that the nodiscount product is added
I want to make sure that the nodiscount product will be counted for the total reached

Could you give me a few example on how this other setting work?
