Control links and lightbox options

    I’d like to create a gallery where some thumbnails open a lightbox, and others link to external pages (for example, project case studies). Is that possible? Currently, the link setting seems to apply globally to the entire gallery.

    Ideally, I want to assign individual behavior per image open in lightbox, custom link, or no action at all. It would make the gallery far more flexible for portfolio use. Please confirm if there’s a way to do this or if it’s planned for an upcoming release.

    Great question, and yes, you’ll be happy to know this is already possible.

    In our gallery, you have full flexibility when it comes to linking behavior. Each image can have its own individual settings, so you can easily mix: images that open in the lightbox, images that link to external pages, and images that have no action at all.

    It sounds like you might have used the same test link on several photos, which can make it look like the setting applies globally. But in fact, each thumbnail has its own link configuration, allowing you to build complex and dynamic portfolios with mixed behaviors.

    Just edit each image individually, assign the preferred action, and you’re good to go!
