Contextual Category Navigation

Heya,

I am in too deep with a wordpress build at the moment and require a specific piece of functionality to get me out of trouble.

I need a category navigation structure which has drill down functionality… ie. you click on ‘Fashion’. which returns a big long list of all ‘Fashion’ and also some contextual navigation such as ‘Mens’, ‘Womens’, ‘Kids’, etc. which in turn if you click on a option returns another list of contextual navigation which you can keep on clicking until you arrive at a small, neat list of relevant items (posts).

My guess is that a custom query (or plugin) would get me out of trouble, but this is beyond my skillset…

I am happy to negotiate a commision if someone can come up with an appropriate solution.
