    Encountering following error message.


    Content Encoding Error

    The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.

        Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

    It is a linux shared server. Not sure to ask the server support about which form of compression to be activated in the server. I have used the “PDF Thumbnails Support Test” plugin, which generated following report:

    Your server has all the necessary software for PDF thumbnail generation! If it still isn't working, try deactivating all plugins.

    This will quickly tell your server has all the software installed to take advantage of WordPress 4.7's built-in PDF thumbnail generation. Some plugins may shim the functionality in other ways. This test only concerns the native WordPress functionality.
