I set up WordPress multipage under Local WP. WordPress is up to date.

My pages are displayed in the dashboard of my main page (DE), with the option of converting them into the languages EN and ES using the plus symbol (+). The correct flags are also shown to me there.

If I now have a page esported to EN, it works without any problems, the data from the page is adopted.

If I then bring the same DE page into the ES language version, it works without any problems.

Afterwards, however, the page that was previously brought to EN appears in my dashboard as no longer connected; the + symbol is there again. However, the page is available in EN.

The theme I use is TwentyTwentyFive. However, the navigations created all work.

What could be the reason why the connection between the pages is suddenly no longer correct? You should then see the pencil symbol instead of the plus symbol?

I’ve been dealing with this problem for days now and just can’t figure out what the problem is.

A problem of understanding on my part. 😉

I “translate” a page, for example to EN, and publish it.

Now comes the translation from DE to ES. The field for data transfer from DE is pre-filled. And now my mistake – before publishing I also have to mark the page that has already been translated into EN!

Only then are all translated pages connected to each other!

I guess I just didn’t want to see the connection 😉

The problem was again finding it 60cm in front of the screen 😉 Problem solved! A great plugin!
