    Hi

I recently added the “Ally – Web Accessibility & Usability” plugin, and since then the WPConsent – Cookie Consent Banner has stopped working.

The #wpconsent-root element is not present anywhere in the DOM or page source, which suggests that the WPConsent JavaScript is not being loaded or executed at all. I’ve checked the browser console, and there are no errors or warnings.

Is there something in Ally’s configuration that could prevent WPConsent from running, or is this likely a plugin conflict?

    Steps I’ve already tried:

    • Confirmed WPConsent works when Ally is deactivated.
    • Verified no JavaScript errors in the console.
    • Checked page source — WPConsent’s root container and scripts are missing entirely when Ally is active.

Any advice on resolving this or a known compatibility fix would be appreciated.

    Thank you!
