Can I upload data as excel file to conditional system?

Data has several columns (criteria A,B, C…) and rows Dimensions.

Is it possible to assign in Dropdown box Dimensions and when chose one then other criteria only for this dimension will be uploaded? Criteria can be as check box and Dropdown box ( for multi criteria).

    Hello Bodus,

    Thank you for your question

I’m not exactly sure what you are trying to achieve. Do you want to conditionally generate columns in an Excel file?

To give a bit of clarification: you can apply conditional logic to dropdowns and checkboxes, and you can allow customers to upload Excel files in the file upload field.

But you can’t create conditional rules to validate criteria for Excel file data. Conditional logic applies to configuration fields only.

Hello, Let me explain what’s going on. I have a large file with many options and prices. Prices change periodically. I’d like to upload such a file and update the calculator. Regarding the calculator, it would need to work conditionally. I have a dimension in my price list with many options assigned to it. I would like to display only the prices from the options assigned to this dimension after selecting a dimension (e.g. Dropdown box).

    Hello Bodus,

    Thank you for explaining!

This is not available in the free version, but if you upgrade to pro version you can import JSON (or CSV) file of the choices and import the new prices in bulk.

But the conditional logic is applied in the configuration form. Not in the import process.

    Hope this answers your question

    Thank you.

I’ll set up the conditional logic first, but it’s important to me that the new prices (.csv) are loaded and automatically updated in the previously set conditional logic. Is this possible? I don’t want to manually enter every changed price. I need to update about 1,000 prices.

    Hello Bodus,

The price import won’t affect the conditional logic. So you can set up conditional logic and your options first, and import the prices afterwards.

Make sure to run export first, then update prices in the exported file. And finally import the updated file again.

We are working on single field updates still (only update the option price fields for example)
