conditional logic within repeated form field groups

    I have created a rental item field group that is repeatable. It allows customers to select an item that they would like to rent from a drop down menu. For two of the rental items I need to collect the renter’s size,(BCD and Caribbean Reef ) but for the rest of the items I do not need sizes. I set up conditional visibility on the size field to only display if BCD or Caribbean reef are selected in the rental item field group.

    The sizing displays correctly when items that need sizing info are selected in the rental field group. However, if a non size item is selected in the rental field group and then the rental field group is repeated and an item that needs sizing is selected in the repeated field group that sizing form field remains hidden. 

    It seems like the repeated fields are being ignored. Is there a workaround for this?

    Hope you are doing well today.

    This is happening because forminator only uses the first item in the repeater field condition, as it uses the field ID and the duplicated fields will not use the same.

    Our developers are already aware of this issue and are working on improving it but don’t have any ETAs for that as a workaround you have two options:

    1. Show the size field unconditionally add helper text like:
    “Only required for BCD and Caribbean Reef”
    2. Instead of using repeater field, add multiple rental item groups and add the conditions for each one.
