Hi there, I’ve just switched to using the WooCommerce Blocks (for Gutenberg) plugin which makes really nice cart and checkout pages. But sadly the PW Gift Redeem Gift Card form is no longer able to show on the Checkout page – because the layout is non-standard.

Is there a way to inject it into place with code or shortcode?

[Or this can be a feature request!]

    Many thanks.

You may try changing the Redeem Location option. It can be found under Pimwick Plugins -> PW Gift Cards -> Settings -> Redeem Location.

If this doesn’t work, then it sounds like the WooCommerce Blocks plugin you are using is not calling the WooCommerce hooks on the checkout page. You would have to contact the developer of that plugin to get the standard hooks added.

Another option is you can just allow the customer to enter their gift card into the Coupon Code field.

Thank you. I’ll get onto the developer and see if they can fix the hook. If not, will the gift payment work by default inside the coupon field?

By default the customer can use the Coupon Code field to enter a gift card number. If you want to turn it off, this can be disabled by going to Pimwick Plugins -> PW Gift Cards -> Settings.

That’s wonderful – thank you so much!
