    Hello!

I have a site with version 2.2.1 of this plugin and from what I’ve looked the plugin has transferred owners and went through large scale changes with the 3.0 update. I’m wondering what is the state of comparability between these versions. Is it safe to update from version 2.x to 3.x, or are the versions not compatible?

    Hi @dacie00,

Sorry for the confusion. The previous reply referred to the CookieYes WordPress plugin.

Regarding your query about the AccessYes plugin, please rest assured that it’s completely safe to update from version 2.2.1 to 3.x. The AccessYes plugin introduced major improvements starting with version 3.0, including a complete code overhaul, updated architecture, and a redesigned settings interface.

All your existing configurations and settings from version 2.x will be automatically migrated during the update process, so you won’t lose any of your existing setup.

You can learn more about the latest features and improvements here

If you have any questions or run into issues after updating, feel free to let us know; we’ll be happy to help!
