This is driving me nuts … have a look at the linked page. There is a Comments form at the bottom. However, this is a hangover from the previous theme I had installed and I can’t find the block/page/code anywhere to delete it. I can add a new form through your theme, no problem, but it duplicates the existing old form too.

Process: Create a new page with no Comments form. No problem. No Comments form.

Add a Comments form (using Block editor) … and it creates TWO, the new one and the old one.

Delete Comments form and the NEW one is deleted, the old one stays! Disable Discussions and it goes away. Enable Discussions and it comes back.

It’s not listed as a Block, there’s nothing in the Code view, it’s not a Widget or menu … there’s just nothing there. But it appears on the page and it WORKS. I can visit the site anonymously and post a Comment, and I get a notification to check it. Nothing in any of the editing GUIs or Customise menus allows me to see it. It seems embedded in Pages created previous to the Theme changeover, and as I said becomes permanent when I add a new Comments block – which creates two.

Hope you can help. By the way, I’d happily pay for using this theme and getting support … I think a basic fee was like $29 for one site/personal use, but I couldn’t see any Support for Theme users on your site – it’s all about plugins, and I got no response when I filled out the Contact form.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hmm … I think I might have figured out what’s happening here, although I don’t understand most of it.

People have commented on my Pages in the past, and I’ve responded to them. Somehow, my website host/server is recognising that and automatically reproducing those Comments/Responses, and thus the Comments Form, so they are displayed.

If I’m right, it doesn’t explain why I’m not seeing any coding or widgets generated by the Host in order to do the above. I’m not seeing that Comments form in code view, or any comments or my responses.

    Hi @gmhague.

The comment functionality doesn’t come from our theme. Our theme is only affect the comments design.

The issue is not related to the theme, so unfortunately we can’t help.

    Thank you.

Thanks, can you tell me, if I buy a supported version of the Theme, how I access support in the future? Your website support page doesn’t seem to list Themes as an option/product for support. How does the “Priority Support” work?

    Hi @gmhague.

When submitting your request, you can select any other product or department. In this case, there will be no problems; your message will help us understand which product you need support for.

We can only provide support for our products. If you need help with comments (mentioned in previous answers), we are unable to help in this case.

    Thank you.
