• Firstly thanks so much for this plug-in, it’s truly amazing and I really appreciate the amount of work and effort you’ve put into it.

    I’m about to go live with a website that uses your plug-in I just got an email from Google about them phasing out support for CocoaPods as an installation method for Google Maps Platform iOS SDKs from the second quarter of 2026.

    I’m not sure I fully understand what that means but it highlighted the instance I’m about to put live. Is this likely to be something that gets updated in future versions of the plug-in or is it a totally separate issue?

    The message you mention is completely unrelated to the Google Maps APIs that Wp Store Locator uses under the hood, so you can safely ignore it. That message is solely related to native applications running on Apple devices on their iOS operating systems. As I said, this has no relationship whatsoever with maps embedded on a website as it is the case with Wp Store Locator.
